With nearly two decades of legal and business experience, Dwayne B. Duncan, Esq. has built a distinguished career helping entrepreneurs, business owners, and organizations protect one of their most valuable assets—their brands. As the founder and Managing Attorney of The Duncan Law Firm LLC, Dwayne focuses his practice on Trademark and Intellectual Property Law, guiding clients through every stage of brand protection, from trademark clearance and registration to portfolio management and enforcement. Having successfully secured federal trademark registrations for numerous brands across a variety of industries, he is committed to helping clients establish, protect, and leverage their intellectual property to create long-term business value.
Dwayne began his legal career as a judicial law clerk with the Tax Court of New Jersey, where he developed the analytical skills and attention to detail that continue to define his legal practice. He later joined Archer Law, one of New Jersey’s premier law firms, where he advised businesses on complex corporate matters and successfully advocated for clients in significant tax-related litigation. These early experiences laid the foundation for his practical, business-oriented approach to legal problem-solving.
Dwayne’s career later took him to JPMorgan Chase, where he served as a Vice President and gained valuable experience working within one of the world’s leading financial institutions. There, he developed a sophisticated understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and the strategic considerations that influence business growth. This unique combination of legal and corporate experience enables him to provide trademark counsel that extends beyond filing applications, helping clients make intellectual property decisions that support broader business objectives.
